The WordPress.com stats page is my constant companion. I LOVE looking at graphs and numbers and trends and data.
If you do too, feel free to check out the fun report they generated for Sacraparental.
Here’s an excerpt:
The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 77,000 times in 2013. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 3 days for that many people to see it.
Or here are three quick facts from the report for the only-slightly-peckish among you:
- Alex was the top commenter in 2013. Her post When Words Fail is also the fifth most read post of the year! Woo hoo!
- Only three of the top five posts were written by me. Stephanie’s story of baby loss and Alex’s delightful rant about kids’ toys went through the roof. (If you want a shot at joining the Sacraparental guest writing team, please contact me.)
- Not from the report but from my full stats page, here are my favourite search phrases that people have entered in a search engine, then clicked to get here:
‘giraffe wild’ (four clicks)
‘michelangelo painting of god bad theology’ (three clicks)
‘why are clothes at hallensteins so terrible?’ (two clicks).
Thank you, friends, for your company, encouragement and conversation through the year. I do love this.
